Warranty Policy

Our goal is to provide you with the best customer experience before, during and after every appointment with Mr. Star. We’re committed to your complete satisfaction. If you’re not 100% happy, we’ll do whatever it takes to make it right. We have outlined the warranty coverage of each of our services below. 1. Phone Repair

What is included:

  • Our mobile phone service comes with a limited one year guarantee on parts and labor used during appointments made on the Mr. Star platform. We use high quality parts and will thoroughly test your device after repair. However, if for instance, your screen is replaced but later appears to have manufacturing defects, contact us at 1 (647) 362-0701 or email your order number and details and upon evaluation, and we’ll happily dispatch another technician to replace it at no cost.

What is excluded:

  • Any pre-existing conditions caused by mishandling, liquid damage, software related defects, or any other unrelated manufacturing defects and issues.
  • Any post repair damages caused by mishandling, liquid damage, software related defects, or any other unrelated manufacturing defects and issues.
  • Loss of data. Please make sure to back up your device prior to your appointment. Mr. Star is not responsible for any loss of data as the result of a phone repair service.
  • Phones that are services by anyone other than a Mr. Star technician before or after the Mr. Star original appointment.

2. Smart Home

What is included:

  • Our Smart Home service comes with a limited 90 day guarantee on labor for appointments made on the Mr. Star platform. Our technicians are highly skilled and will ensure your smart home setup is fully functional after deeming the installation complete. However, if for instance, your smart home setup is found to be faulty, contact us at 1 (647) 362-0701 or email your order number and details and upon evaluation, we will dispatch a Mr. Star technician to resolve the issue.

What is excluded:

  • Any damage, unrelated to the original installation, caused by mishandling, and or manufacturing defects.
  • Smart Home setup modification done by anyone other than a Mr. Star technician, before or after the Mr. Star original appointment.

3. TV Mounting

What is included:

  • Our TV mounting service comes with a 90-day limited guarantee on parts and labor used during appointments made on the Mr. Star platform. We use high quality TV brackets and will thoroughly test your TV installation. However, if for instance, your Mr. Star bracket is found to have manufacturing defects, contact us at 1 (647) 362-0701 or email your order number and details and upon evaluation, we will re-install the TV with a new bracket at no cost. All issues must be reported to Mr. Star within 90 days of the installation.

What is excluded:

  • Any damage to the TV, unrelated to the original installation, caused by mishandling, and or manufacturing defects.
  • Bracket, full-motion mishandling and TV placement modifications done by anyone other than a Mr. Star technician, before or after the Mr. Star original appointment.
  • Municipal and building regulations and bylaws in regard to high voltage in-wall wire concealment vary by building and municipality. All high voltage wire concealment services are provided with the full consent of the customer and are not part of Mr. Star’s Warranty Policy. Please check your building and municipality code before ordering in-wall wire concealment services. Please contact us for more detailed information on your options.

4. WiFi and Network

What is included:

  • Our WiFi and Network service comes with a limited 90 day guarantee on labor for appointments made on the Mr. Star platform. Our technicians are network experts and will ensure your WiFi setup is fully functional after deeming the installation complete. However, if for instance, you experience network related issues, contact at 1 (647) 362-0701 or email your order number and details, we will dispatch a Mr. Star technician to fix the problem.

What is excluded:

  • Any damage, unrelated to the original installation, caused by mishandling, and or manufacturing defects of your network components.
  • Network setup and configuration changes done by anyone other than a Mr. Star technician, including technicians from your Internet operator, performed before or after the Mr. Star original appointment.

5. Computer Support

What is included:

  • Our Computer Support service come with a limited 90 day guarantee on parts and labor for appointments made on the Mr. Star platform. Our technicians are computer experts and will ensure your system is fully functional after deeming the service complete. However, if for instance, you re-experience an issue related to the original problem, contact us at 1 (647) 362-0701 or email your order number and details and upon evaluation, we will dispatch a Mr. Star technician to fix the problem.

What is excluded:

  • Any damage, unrelated to the original installation, caused by mishandling, and or manufacturing defects of your computer or related components.
  • Computer repair and setup, software or hardware, done by anyone other than a Mr. Star technician before or after the Mr. Star original appointment.

6. Tips and Training

What is included:

  • Our Tips and Training service comes with a full hour of one-on-one training on the topic you selected with one of our friendly technicians. Our commitment is your full satisfaction. However, if you are not fully satisfied with the training service you received within the fist 7 days, contact us with your order number and upon evaluation, we will dispatch another Mr. Star technician to go over your training needs.

THIS WARRANTY POLICY IS VALID EXCLUSIVELY TO THE CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED THE SERVICE AND WHOSE NAME IS ON THE INVOICE. THIS WARRANTY POLICY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND WILL NOT BE VALID IF THE DEVICE IS TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS. MR. STAR MAY, AT ANY TIME, AND AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION MODIFY THE WARRANTY POLICY WITH OUR WITHOUT NOTICE TO THE USER. ANY SUCH MODIFICATION WILL BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON PUBLIC POSTING. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE PLATFORM FOLLOWING ANY SUCH MODIFICATION CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE MODIFIED POLICY.
